I'm a musician and software engineer living in Chicago. I like stand up comedy and beer, and also my dog Levi and sometimes working out. I am an avid moviegoer and reader, and am constantly working to fill in the gaps in my knowledge. I am a big fan of Feynman's mantra "What I cannot create, I do not understand."

I am currently a first year Ph.D. student in the Interactive Audio Lab at Northwestern University.

I went to University of Michigan where I got one degree in Jazz Studies (Guitar) and another in Physics. As an undergrad, I was fortunate enough to play with a countless number of terrific musicians, some of which are showcased here, and I also worked on the ATLAS detector, which is part of the LHC at CERN. I used to work for National Instruments on the LabVIEW Core team.
